Why You Don’t Trust Your Decisions (And How to Change That)
Share
You don't show up for yourself enough. Think about it. You said you would exercise 5 days a week, you said you would eat healthy and limit takeout, you said you would do the task you were assigned without waiting for the last minute to do it, you said you would go on that vacation, you said you would make time to read, you said you would doom-scroll lesser, you said you would meet your friend, you said you would do it - but you did not. If this was someone else you knew, would you trust them over and over again to show up? Probably not.
A hard truth. Sometimes, showing up for yourself means you have to learn to disappoint other people. You have to learn to be okay with that.
This pattern of self-doubt is exactly what I help ambitious women work through inside Confidence Code — a 10-day live experience to build real self-trust.
Here's what I know, the more you show up for yourself, the more you trust yourself which leads to the magical outcome – the more you believe you are worthy of what you desire. Every single time you do what you said you would, you become reliable to yourself. When you do what you said you would do, repeatedly, you wire it in & automate this behaviour. With this understanding, you can successfully rewire your pattern of saying you would do something -> not showing up -> feeling guilty -> low self-worth. But this isn’t something you fix by thinking harder. Inside The Confidence Code, we work through decision-making, self-trust and inner authority using journaling, meditation, visualization and creative work.

So, does this mean you should do everything you tell yourself you would? Not at all. Should is one of the most compelling words in the English language, according to Louise Hay. So how would you solve for this? Start becoming selective about what you tell yourself you would do. You don't go around making promises to other people all the time. Then why should it be so easy to keep making them to yourself & not show up. Start choosing what you tell yourself you would do. Pick a small step to start with eg: Brushing your teeth at night. Do it day after day, repeatedly. Gain your trust and then watch it build upwards into self-worth & increasing abundance. Allow yourself to notice how the way you see yourself changes. Then let this compound.

Confidence is built in action — not in consuming more content. If you’re ready to stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your decisions, Confidence Code is where this work deepens.
